a little about me

I’m a woman with a passion for reclaiming truth + remembering the ancient ways of being. I consider my role as the trailblazer — one who is willing to create the way for others. I am a wife to an incredibly hard working mister, a momma to four beautiful free range, free thinking kiddos, a sister, an auntie, a friend.

The spark that lit my love for birth, physiologic postpartum care, and initiated womanhood was our first homebirth experience in 2019. It became so clear to me that how we are ushered into motherhood and how we feel about it truly set the stage for how we mother. Mothers who are initiated well are more prepared to take on all that is to come in rearing well-attuned, aligned, and compassionate children. What I’ve seen is that connection between mother and baby has less to do with socioeconomic status and more to do with how well the mother is scaffolded and allowed time to create this bond. Mothers are the cornerstones of the community. To raise healthy communities, we need well supported mothers.

Scanning history, this once was the way. The women supported the women. This sacred work of bringing up the next generation was done in community and in connectedness.

I feel it in my bones; this is my work. To mother my children, support mothers, and to create a structure of living that ensures thriving for all life.

  • I am a mother with 11 years of soulful experience navigating the needs of our growing family. I am the advocate that analyzes all the decisions, weighing out the risk to benefit ratio, the history, the research, and leaning largely on intuition and connection to Creator. I feel this is my greatest qualification in supporting other mothers in their work.

  • I’ve had the honor of experiencing birth in a variety of flavors — in hospital, at home with a licensed midwife, freebirth in hospital, and freebirth at home in collaboration with a traditional midwife.

  • In 2024, I focused in specifically on physiologic and traditional postpartum care and completed Indie Birth’s Mothering the Mother course.

  • In 2025, I completed Steamy Chick Institute’s Steamcare Provider Level 1, Level 2, and Peristeam Hydrotherapist Certification.

  • Countless hours I’ve spent filling my cup with birth wisdom and education and supporting sisters as they’ve navigated their journey into motherhood. This spark became a fire for me in 2019 in preparation for our first homebirth.

  • Preparing for our daughter’s menarche has been my driving force into learning the deeper messages of our cycles and how to honor them.
